Westwood Christian School is a wonderful private environment focused on the future of its students in every area of their lives. A person who attends Westwood will definitely grow in character, responsibility, teamwork, academic excellence, community support, and athletics, and he/she will, in general become a very well-rounded person. Any graduate of Westwood will be fully prepared for their life ahead of them, as our college-prep style really readies students for the world ahead of them. Many students move on to top colleges in Florida and around the nation, and a prime example of that is Florida's lieutenant governor Jeanette Núñez, a graduate from Westwood Christian. In the future, I would love to see WCS improve in technology worked into the learning environment, and the staff is actually currently working on implementing new tech into the classrooms to be ready for the 2020-2021 school year.
I have been at Westwood since I was two years old. It has been some of the best years of my life. However, as a lifer of the school, I would advise others who have gone for as long to take a year off and go to another school, to get a new variety and perspective on education, as I did. Westwood is small, which is both a blessing and a curse. Very family oriented but very little variety, which is why I had such a great time going to a different school for a year. Overall, my experience at Westwood has been amazing and educational, but I wish they would add more classes in courses. Westwood is my family, however, and would advise anyone looking for a Christian, individual-focused private school, I would tell them Westwood Christian School is the place to be.
Could use some a lot better teachers and work. I have been a student at Westwood Christian School for two years now. The student body and Faultily are very welcoming, however Westwood Christian does not prepare the students for college. They have one college consoler that was an English teacher, had no experience with counseling students.
