I personally like Westville a lot. It has been my second home since I was in the 7th grade. I have taken many dual credit and a few college readiness classes. I am also a part of my high school band and I have been a part of it for almost five years. Every teacher I have come into contact with at Westville has always been kind, helpful, and respectful to me. As a senior, I have the opportunity to be a teacher’s aide. To me, this is a great chance to become closer with my teachers and gain a good teaching experience. The administration is fantastic as well. There are a few things that I wish I could change about Westville. The first being the school cafeteria. Eating lunch with my friends is my favorite part of my day. The only problem for me is that the school lunch isn’t always the greatest. I also wish there were more foreign language classes offered because Westville only has two. I am really glad that I have spent my high school education there.

The one on one take in with the student and teacher. The hands on classes.Plenty of friends and hundreds of other people to meet if those friendships don’t work out. The school dances are a lot of fun, too. There’s always a football or soccer or baseball game to watch, and so many clubs to join.

I like the learning part, too. Once I figured out that filling my schedule up with harder classes would eliminate boredom, school got 100% better for me. I like to take challenging classes and push my limits.

. Freshman year, my elective classes included dance, art, fashion design, and physical education. I had no clue what I wanted to do after high school, but I started leaning towards a career in fashion or foreign language.
My experience so far at Westville High School is very appealing. The school has many amazing teachers and very caring staff. The school is not very large but has an inviting atmosphere. The only complaint that I, as a student, has is I wish the school had healthier lunch options.
