If you want a school that will partner with you to help your daughter grow into a strong and confident young woman with her heart in the right place, you need not look any further than Westridge. The teachers are passionate about what they do; they care deeply and it shows in the way they approach every subject. In fact, everything the school does is done with thoughtful care and intention. The girls go on to college well prepared not just academically, but for life's challenges as well. Simply put, this school is the gold standard by which we measure all other schools!

I have two daughters here, one in Lower School and one in Upper School (who started in Lower School), both with very different personalities and learning styles. The academics, like many private schools, are outstanding, however, what I believe sets Westridge apart is their dedication to understanding, and educating girls. They give them the confidence to speak up, to not be afraid of making mistakes, to try things they never would have thought of trying. They girls grow to become self-confident, articulate young women, ready to go out in to the world and lead lives of impact.
As far as parental involvement is concerned, both my husband and I are very involved with the school, and love the sense of community we feel whenever we are on campus.
If you are considering a single sex school for your daughter, I would encourage you to attend an Open Houses and see for yourself what makes this school so special.
Great school with amazing teachers eager to make each student successful. The classes are relatively small with a size of 15-20 and the teachers try their utmost best to encourage participation from their students. The school is very accepting of all identities whether it be religious, sexual, etc. and teaches women to reach their potential. Not only does this school work to boost women’s confidence, but it also is a very comfortable environment to learn. Our school is mostly known for our outstanding English department. My freshman teacher, Mr. Raines teaches us beyond the standard curriculum by coalescing everything learned in class with real life situations. The only complaint I have is that some students lack motivation and interfere with the ideal learning environment. Many don’t pay attention in class and the teachers seem not to care. Regardless, Westridge has taught me so much ma di am very thankful for being provided with such resources to enhance my learning.
