I have found that seeking help from teachers outside of class time has been most rewarding at Weston High School. Doing this not only helped me better understand what was being taught during class, but it also gave me the opportunity to expand my knowledge to topics outside of the given curriculum. During my Junior year, I went to my chemistry teacher to review the topic of orbital hybridization and gained lots of knowledge about real-life examples.
Also, at the beginning of Junior year, I failed my first test in high school in a very difficult class. To solve this, I went to see my teacher after school and ask for additional resources to help me study in more detail and with more efficiency. With the teacher's excellent help, I received an A+ on the next test I took in that class.
These examples demonstrate how helpful the Weston High School staff can be, only if students take the given opportunities to meet with their teachers for extra instruction.

Overall, the academics are rigorous and challenging, the teachers are supportive, and the environment is welcoming, but I just wish that more guidance was provided to the younger students and that the schedules were less complex (it's unnecessary to have 8 different schedules in rotation) and that programs were more inclusive and plentiful.
Lots of AP classes, good course selection, caring administrators. Blue Ribbon School that tries to continually improve and live up to it's own very high standards. Many of the the sports teams win their conferences. Swimming, Track, Lacrosse, Basketball are the most accomplished teams for boys and girls, alike. We have a lot of school spirit, so even though our Football team isn't the best, we still get a lot of attendees and it's a lot of fun. I would say one of our bad things is the food. Even though it's supposed to be fresh, it's clearly not as fresh as it could be, so we usually leave campus and buy food locally.
