How could I not love Weston. Like many of my classmates, my family moved here for the school and its proximity to New York. It has a beautiful and practical setting, tucked away between two pristine reservoirs and only 50 minutes from New York City. All of my teachers are graduates from prestigious colleges and universities, and the ones who are not make up for it by being very experienced and knowledgeable in their fields.

For a while, I found it easy to complain about its negatives like its lack of diversity, or teachers who just don't seem to care, or too much coddling academically. Eventually, I realized that us students at Weston have it pretty good. Our problems here are much worse at other schools. The cons are a small price to pay for one of the finest educations Connecticut has to offer.
Review Weston High School
Attending a High School that has a maximum of 26 students per class allows teachers to effectively have strong and appropriate relationships with students. They’re very approachable and make time to help struggling students; not only do they make comments or pointers but they give proper examples to help their students excel in their work. The teachers provide a comfortable atmosphere for their students; granting them extra time when needed or the opportunity to stop by and ask them a question about work from class. The outstanding effort and drive that the teachers put into their teachings forces their students to become determined and successful, preparing them for college or anything else that will come in their future.
I really enjoy Weston High. I completed freshman year at a different high school and moving to Weston enlightened me concerning the lack of many positive attributes that weston has. Weston has an excessive amount of school spirit. Everyday there are people wearing weston clothing and there are countless school activities. Another thing that contributes to the united community of Weston High is the merging of grades. Students at Weston are encouraged to broaden their friend group to include people of other grades. For example, in early December, there is a dance; the dates are made by freshmen asking sophomores. Overall, this is a great school.
