Westmont Hilltop Elementary School Reviews

Westmont Hilltop Elementary was recently remodeled and is beautiful. My daughter has went to school there K-4 and enjoyed all of her teachers. The curriculum is appropriate for grade level. The teachers encourage students who are strong in subjects to continue to challenge themselves, while striving to provide extra support for those who maybe be struggling in an area. Other than some minor name calling/teasing the children in the elementary school seem to get along and support each other. Westmont Elementary has a STEAM Fair every year to show off the different projects and experiments the children work on in school and on their own at home. This year the school also supported the young woman of the school by hosting a Girls Club. Girls grades 4-6 were eligible to sign up to participate after school for the club. They learned team building exercises, self esteem projects, and ran the track.
Parking is a downside to this school.

My children went to Westmont Hilltop Elementary for several years. I had to remove them because my son was coming home with severe bruises, including black eyes. He is autistic and the teachers allowed him to be hit. My daughter is non verbal and was left alone outside the school one morning after my husband and I dropped her off and we explained to the substitute about her special

I would recommend that anyone with special needs children to please contact the Department of special education and ask to view complaints against school. You also have the right to put special needs children in a regular classroom which is a safer alternative than the special ed classrooms. You have to ask for this
