Academically, Westminster is a great institution with lots of great teachers, resources and a very strong, rigorous college-prep curriculum. However, during my time there I felt an overwhelming sense of otherness due to the lack of diversity within the student body and the faculty, along with subpar treatment from members of the administration, many of whom appeared to be unable to speak to me as though I were any other student. Additionally, as with many other institutions, I and other students of color (and many students in the majority), were incredibly aware of the tokenism with which they were treated. Besides the whole diversity issue, I had a great experience in college counseling, and in part, due to my counselor's amazing guidance was able to get into my first choice colleges.

Westminster is a very interesting place, coming from a public school, the difference in how the teacher actually wants to see their students succeed was apparent on my first day as a freshman. It's impossible to match the bond acquired by physically living with someone, but the effort to include day students into the 'boarding community' could be better. Succeeding academically at Westminster is challenging, but very rewarding. The teachers are caring and intelligent, however, it seems like the math department is not filled with the brightest teachers. The food is subpar. Shoutout to Mrs. Sara Mogck.
This is school is so amazing!! The community is so friendly and the academics is outstanding. I have made some great friends and the amount of work this school does to help you prepare for the real world is just incredible. Their sports program has really developed over the years, especially the soccer program. I really love this school and everything it has offered going from the food to traditions.
