OP Elem displays extremely poor leadership. School states strongly that they operate under biblical standards, while they are excellent at quoting the Bible, their actions do not reflect this. Negative environment where bullying is tolerated. Elem principal downplays major issues and tries to convince the children affected of this as well. Bullying is not always reported to the parents and when leadership is approached, they attempt to cover it up. My child was punished for a false accusation and remained punished for an entire quarter of school even after evidence was provided that the child was innocent. Head of school hides behind his email and releases "strategic plans" but doesn't want to face the problems at hand, I.e. Bullying, racial divide, lack of leadership. State vouchers are also accepted here, so those considering an excellent private school, please look elsewhere. There were incidents we faced this year that reflected that of a low rated public school.

I love the faculty members. There are a few good teachers there that are willing to go the extra mile to help you understand a lesson, work with you, build relationships with you, and pray with you. They are a very good college preparatory school when it comes to academics. Athletics were pretty good this 2016- 2017 year. I would like to see administration actually listen to what their students have to say and not look at them as incoherent children and I would also like to see an administration change. Not everyone in administration is as Christian as they portray to be and they don't attack situations head on as they should; they like to sweep it under the rug and ostracize those who don't agree with their actions and decisions. I feel the school may be going in a direction it was never intended to be.
Westminster Christian Academy is a great school. I attend it, and I get a great education. Everybody at WCA is very welcoming, and the teachers are willing to help with anything you ask. The sports programs are doing well, especially Girls Volleyball, Girls Track and Field, and Boys Tennis. There is a great variety of sports including: girls and boys cross country, girls and boys basketball, football, softball, volleyball, baseball, girls and boys tennis, girls and boys soccer, and girls and boys track and field. They have clubs including: 4H, Elementary Mission Team, Middle school Mission Team, and High school Mission Team. WCA prepares you for college with their difficulty and homework amount.
