My wife and I made a difficult decision 13 years ago-Westminster or the good public elementary school. Can we afford it? Is it really worth it, even at the elementary age? How does it impact the spiritual growth of my child? Are the academics worth it? We didn't know the answers, but we proceeded knowing that our child would be taught from a Christ-centered, Bible-based perspective. Looking back, we have absolutely ZERO regrets about the INVESTMENT we've made by sending 3 kids to WCA. Yes, it is a financial sacrifice, but it is worth it! There is a balanced approach to excel in all 4 categories - spiritual, academic, athletics and co-curricular. A true 1 Cor.10:31 mindset. Westminster is not a perfect school (there are none), but it is Christ-centered and has had a profound impact on our kids. By God's grace, our senior daughter is ready and prepared for college and to carry out the Great Commission. 2 Thess. 2:15

I liked the fact that I felt safe coming to school everyday and did not have to worry about violence that many public schools face. The school is very cookie cutter and anyone with a different family background like divorced parents , deceased close family member, poor, or even medical disabilities in family is an oddity. Not only did they lack facilities like a proper library or nurses office, but they also lacked a proper guidance councilor. It seems like any teacher that cared about the students and taugh well was let go, while coaches who were terrible teachers stayed on despite parent complaints. I do not believe that Westminster prepared me for college much less life after school.
We could not be more pleased with WCA! The principal, teachers, and staff are very professional and create a loving, Christian environment where students are encouraged to learn and grow. We like the more traditional curriculum and the small size of the school- where teachers know each child and partner with WCA families. WCA has a clear, shared vision and stays committed to that vision, as evident in school communication, high expectations, and quality leadership.
