As a student who was involved in the Magnet Program, the AP Program, and the International Baccalaureate Program, I can safely say that Westlake is an excellent school, replete with caring teachers, an amazing faculty, and a great principal. Arguably the best school in its district, I recommend students applying to Westlake partake in its Magnet and International Baccalaureate Program. Go Lions!

As a Junior in the magnet program with AP and IB classes, so far my experience has been very well. They offer many clubs and opportunities to students to help get to college. The teachers that I’ve taken have been exceptional. I love my school! If only they had a snack vending machine and more school fundraisers that allow us to do hands on activities.
I enrolled into Westlake High school midway though my sophomore year of high school. Westlake is an extraordinary school. I loved the curriculum, the way teachers interacted with you and also the way teachers teach as well. I like the fact that West lake offers different type of pathways you can choose from. This may help a student figure out what he/she would like to do coming out of college. The only thing I would change about Westlake is the amount of children that are in one classroom. This would help keep other children focused on doing their work.
