WA was an overall a really good experience, it set me up for success during college by its rigorous curriculum and dedicated teachers that ensure no student is left behind. WA provided the best sources for student success. It took me awhile to adjust to WA’s atmosphere, it always seemed it was a all about academics, but the school provided exceptional resources to students who struggled and I’m glad to say my WA experience was great!
Westford Academy definitely sets it’s students up for success academically. I found that it has prepared me for college level classes and writing. Also, I found that as long as a student puts in effort into class and pays attention, we score very well on AP tests, the SAT/ACT, and other standardized tests.
Culturally speaking, I feel that Westford Academy could benefit from more effort to support students. For example, I feel that more cultural awareness should be implemented at WA to expose students to diversified experiences other than their own, likely privileged, background. With this being said, I do like the amount of clubs offered at WA which give students the option to expose themselves to things, but does not truly implement this into the curriculum.
Overall, Westford Academy is an outstanding public high school that sets up students for success given that students take advantage of the opportunities made available to them by the school.

Westford academy is academically a good school. In my experience, the admin staff (deans, principal) unfairly treat students who may need a little extra help learning or do not do as well as other students. There are great teachers who made a difference in my life but also teachers who belittle and look down on students who struggle. Not to get into specifics, while I attended there was students who committed despicable acts to other students and committed crimes and because they were from powerful families in with ties to the school, nothing came of it.
Good education but the school only cares about its reputation. Personally, I will never be sending my children here because of the disgusting behavior of the higher ups within the school.
