Overall, my experience here at Westfield High has been good. I would say the majority of our teachers are passionate about what they teach and offer help when needed. The student community is generally friendly and accepting. I haven't experienced/witnessed any bullying during my 4 years here. One thing I like about Westfield High is that it offers dual enrollment classes that help us prepare for college. I'm a participant in the Westfield Promise program at my school, which is a dual enrollment program through WSU. My experience in the program has been amazing and very beneficial. I do have a few complaints, however. The food is barely edible and the technology here is quite outdated, though there have been some improvements in recent years (for example, new chromebooks). Having no AC in the building is another downside, since everyone is melting during the last month of the school year. Despite all that, I would rate my overall experience with Westfield High a 4/5.

I am a senior at Westfield high school. Home of the Mustangs! I do like the school pride that the administration convey. But I don’t like the lack of school pride the students have, I wish that would change. I enjoy the love and the bond we can have with the teachers there, and being able to feel safe to be yourself there. I would change the white walls that kinda resemble a hospital or a jail cell. Walking through those halls can honestly make you feel a little depressing. Statics show that color can change a persons emotion. I do enjoy the sporting programs we have, but i would change the attention that all the sports get besides football. They are viewed to be the “better” sport.
The things that I have experienced that were good was the college career center they had to help get ready for college and finding scholarships. Also another thing that was good was the ccc teacher helped students find jobs. But the bad side was that teachers would argue and cuss with/at the students. There were also teachers that just gave out the grades and not really teach at all. Also the students were rude always disrupting class to argue with the teachers about homework. The bathrooms were awful; sinks were broken, toilets not working, roof is falling apart in class, holes in the wall. Supplies On dictionarys, calculators, and class set books were always torn up or there was only a few handful of it. The staff in the attendence office is also very rude. They were to busy looking at there phones or gave attitude to the parents/students dropping of notes. I wouldn't recommend this highschool to anyone to get a good education.
