I really enjoyed my experience at Western Hills, and my previous school paled in comparison to the amount of kindness shared by my peers and the love for teaching showed by the staff. However, the years have not been kind to WHHS as we have had 3 different principles in four years. The constant changes in administration have worn out our teachers and some of them resort to using only KAHOOT in class. My Alma Mater is quickly becoming mismanaged by overly strict administration and worn-out teachers, most notably in the past year. But would I recommend it to anyone? It depends. For sports and school spirit, it can be a flip of a coin, either well spirited or lack-luster. If you're looking for a great school for Engineering, Audio-Visual Production, Architecture, Band, or Air Force JROTC, then western hills is a good option. Overall, I'm glad I came to Western Hills.

The teachers at Western Hills High School are very considerate and are very helpful to all students. They make sure you understand what is being taught, before throwing something on you more. However, one thing that could’ve made my experience better at my high school is a more decorative surrounding in hallways and a better controlled switch class to class without students crowding the halls. Other than that, I enjoy my classrooms and teachers within each subject always supporting and benefiting us.
I loved being a Western Hills Cougar! High school was some of the best years of my life and I rather enjoyed being apart of that atmosphere. The teachers and students are really what made that school one of the best. The teachers were caring and compassionate towards the students, and I could tell that they truly wanted to see us succeed after high school. Out of the 17 Fort Worth public high schools, Western Hills was the only one I wanted to be at because it always felt like home.
