My experience at Western High School has been great so far. My school offers many different courses taught by teachers who care about their students' education. I have been apart of my school's marching band and concert band for the past 3 years. Actually, the music program is what made me want to attend Western. I have met many amazing and talented individuals, and I feel connected to my peers. My school is very diverse, with many people with different cultural backgrounds, values, and beliefs. The only issue I have with my school is the cleanliness of the bathrooms, but that's because of individual students, not the school itself. Overall, I appreciate the opportunities that are presented to students at Western High School and I look forward to the upcoming school year.

Western High School has a lot to work on. For starters, our high school clearly does not receive the same funding compared to other schools in the same district such as Cypress High School. This is a huge disadvantage for students who live in the Western area because the school simply cannot offer the same amount of resources as the other schools. Moreover, the teachers at Western have been there for a very long time. Though the teachers have great wisdom and experience when it comes to dealing with students at Western, we need more new teachers that can relate to the students and understand the issues that teenagers face.
Despite these issues, I have made a lot of great memories and friends at this school. At times I felt very disadvantaged because of the lack of resources, but the campus was a welcoming place with a lot of inclusivity. There are aspects to Western that I enjoy, but this school definitely needs help in receiving more funding.
The campus its self is good and is very memorable to me and the teachers are very cooperative towards the students where they do there best to teach and get us prepared for college especially when it comes to Honors and AP classes. The counselors are very supportive and have a lot of opportunists for the students to be engaged on the campus, apply and recommend colleges and scholarships and are great for one to one talks for the support. They have a wide arrange of extracurricular activities which are very engaging and fun to do which their clubs and sports shine the most. One thing I disliked about the campus is how much funding they have which is not a lot since some academic classes will not have the equipment or necessities for their classes and some sports equipment may be out of date or old.
