Western Christian High School Reviews

Western Christian itself is a great school. The academics are amazing and the support you get from teachers is very helpful. There is definitely the aspect of Christianity in every part of the day. We had weekly chapels and met with our "faithpacks" (bible study groups) weekly also, as well as going on a SERVE day with them every year. I would say on the downside, the school is full of stuck-up rich kids and is very sports-centered. I felt like the arts (especially theatre) didn't get as much focus, and if you weren't the main sports team you got last priority for everything.
Western Christian was an amazing place where I grew both academically, socially, and especially spiritually. I became more of a leader and was able to take more risks because of the people there that encouraged me and pushed me to grow. Also, everything I was involved in allowed me to grow and learn more about different skills and abilities I have as well. Great school!!
I made a lot of my closest friends at Western Christian High School. The food was good a lot of times. The sports were always my favorite part, because we made it to state a lot. I really liked the new renovation the school made for a hangout spot for students during breaks. I also like the extra activities such as prom and homecoming. The part I liked most was that I was able to receive a Christian education. The teachers were always nice, and they were always willing to help out students. I just graduated from there last year, and the goodbye speech at my graduation from one of my teachers was sweet and tear-jerking. My four years at Western Christian high school are years I can never forget.
