Western HighSchool is a very good school to attend in the area. The teachers and faculty are always nice to me and others. Many teachers have even gone above and beyond to make sure their students understand the material. The social scene at Western is good and many students are helpful and friendly especially when compared to neighboring schools. However, one area that needs more attention is the facilities. Many rooms are very outdated and bathrooms are lacking and can be rather disgusting. Overall, I have had a lot of positive things to say about Western and the relationships between students and faculty.
I love this school! There are so many teachers who genuinely care about me and my well being. It’s so much more than just a school, it’s a warrior community. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Facilities are in rough shape but probably average for the state. Would benefit from teachers standing in the bathrooms during class change or at least sticking their head in once in awhile. Some great teachers and students, some not so much. Very competitive students academically. Small town feel with many families having known each other for several generations.
