Like most yeshivas out there, the variety of teachers is mixed. One thing to appreciate though is that not all of them are Jewish which allows for a greater cultural exchange between the students and teachers. The Jewish life and school-sponsored activities are excellent and provide a unique high school experience.
Academics at Westchester Hebrew High are solid but there are a few problems. Sports are underfunded and poorly managed. Additionally, the caliber of the school has diminished as a result of a weakened student body academically.
Supportive staff, interesting class offerings. Dislike the whole being forced to participate in religious rituals thing, but it is a religious school, so it's what expected. Cool class trips, and tight knit community.
