I like West Valley because of it's inclusiveness to all members of different cultures and communities. I felt very welcomed seeing such diversity and acceptance from students and staff. The environment students created in terms of sprit was also outstanding, as it made me feel proud to be a part of the school!
West Valley HS is a pretty average school. We have good sports, good test scores, and good fine arts but, they aren't the best and can be improved. I would try to give more funding to sports so that they can send players to camps or get professional advise. I would also try and fund classes more so that students have the resources they need to get their work done right. And finally I would provide more resources students can use to help them with school work so that they can do better on their test's. Overall the school is a great place to study, make friends, and try and be involved but it can use some improvements.
I participate in a bunch of the fine arts departments of west valley, and they are all excellent. I enjoy that they offer advanced courses, but I wish there were more support for the students who take on these challenges. Our math department is also not the best, I have been struggling to learn all 4 years
