West Shore Christian Academy Reviews

This is my first year at West Shore, and it is quite a culture shock. The class sizes are extremely small, with only six senior girls this year! Conservative values are also highly emphasized here. For its size, West Shore's coursework is highly advanced -- which I love. The teachers are welcoming, and can always assist you because of a low student-to-teacher ratio. Music, art, and other extracurriculars are also surprisingly advanced. I joined the speech and debate team and the talented coaches helped me qualify for the NSDA state championship! The sports teams, frankly, are sub-par because of a limited number of players. However, athletics here is not about "winning;" it is about giving everybody a chance and helping each other grow physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I joined the soccer team despite having no soccer experience and built valuable relationships within my first few weeks at this school. West Shore exceeded my expectations, especially on account of its size.
We are in our 4th year at West Shore Christian Academy and couldn't be happier. The Biblical worldview that is weaved through every aspect of the curriculum is something that was important to us, without sacrificing our high academic standards. We have been thoroughly impressed with the teachers and administration and look forward to the years to come. We highly recommend WSCA!
I loved attending WSCA. The teachers really care about their students and are able to really help and get to know them because it is a smaller school. There aren't any strangers you see in the hall because everyone knows everyone. From what I have seen there, there isn't any bullying (at least in the High School). I only attended there for 3 years, but I have friends whose whole families have attended WSCA and have been there since Kindergarten.
