West Rowan High School has a variety of options that truly make every student feel welcome. Personally, I fell in love with the agricultural department and have been a part of it ever since I transferred from North Rowan Middle School. I have truly been blessed with some of the kindest teachers, mentors and friends. The only thing I would change about it is the removal of seminar. I do not believe that it is a productive usage of our time. Other than that, I feel everything is running very smoothly!

A couple of the things that I loved about West Rowan High School were the agriculture program, and the friendly staff/ faculty members. During my time at West I spent a lot of time in the Agriculture building. I loved being at a school that offered so many classes to learn about animals. What made it even better was actually having animals so that we could get hands on experience while learning. Another thing I loved about West was the Staff members. The staff at west are very friendly and are always willing to help. West also had some of the most outgoing and spirited staff members, having these kind of teachers is part of what made West so much fun.
My experience has been one of a kind just like every other high schooler. I would say that some of my teachers have really helped me grow and set me up for success while others did they opposite. It is a very nice area in Mt. Ulla, and the people of unique. I love West Rowan and will never forget everything I've went through at this school, It has been one crazy ride!
