West Nottingham Academy was my first boarding school and I have to say, I had a really good experience! I made friends really fast and everyone is so nice. They have you take classes for college readiness as a freshman, preparing for it and I think that is really smart. The classes are also small, so no one gets left behind. I have done more activities and visited more places than I would have in a public school. The food is so much better too!
I came to West Nottingham Academy in my senior year as an exchange student. This year is my first year in the USA. I love this school. The kind, diverse community is the best thing about WNA!
West Nottingham Academy is a private boarding school in Colora, Maryland. I was raised in New York my entire life, so when I made the decision to come to West Nottingham Academy, I thought that the transition would be rough. When I arrived, it was a smooth ride. I attended my classes, got involved in sports, made new friends, and overall I had a good time. Once you step foot on a campus like West Nottingham, you lose all fear. The teachers here support you through everything, and the community is friendly. I have been in this school for 4 full years now, and I am nearing the end of my journey here. I could proudly say that the experience was all worth it looking back at it now.
