West Montgomery has been an overall joyride. For me, I believe that it has provided everything that I've needed in order to get to where I am going. The teachers and all other faculty were more helpful than I can explain. Being that I had the chance to enter in the AVID program my sophomore year, I've began to take my education a lot more serious than i did my freshman year. On top of all that, our sports teams are phenomenal! Overall, West Montgomery High School has been one crazy ride and I really hate that I'll be leaving soon.

WMHS is located in a very small town, which reflects the school. With less funding means less activities. Although the teachers were incredible, the whole educational system should be changed. WMHS focused more on athletics than scholar.
All the teachers were very helpful in my success. I feel like the school was small enough to allow me to be noticed. I was given all the supplies I needed to excel. I started out being very shy but by the time I graduated I was very confident in myself and became very popular. I had all the resources I needed to complete my assignments. The teachers were always very accessible to us. Even during COVID, our learning continued and I was able to complete my classes and graduate as scheduled. It was hard work for the teachers to get our assignments to us and I appreciate their dedication to every single student. The principal was very nice and enthusiastic. She shows up every day with a smile on her face and made sure to be accessible to us. I had some.of the best years of my life at Weat. I'm going to miss the school very much. The school prepared me for college and for life itself. I live in a very small town and I don't think I could have received a better education anywhere else.
