The one thing that I like most about West Michigan Aviation Academy are the staff. They're the reasons why I pushed myself to become a better learner. At my old school, I used to hate school so much because I thought it wasn't worth my time, until I switched schools and got to know all the staff. They make sure you're on task and they challenge you in different skills. They also prepare you for college! I used to be so scared of my future plans because I didn't know what I wanted to do, but now I know exactly what I want to do because of the help from my staff.

I have shadowed the school, attended the parent/student information night, and had a private tour of the school, and I cannot wait to attend in the fall of 2017! The students were friendly, as were the teachers, and there seemed to a higher passion for learning, diversity rate, and overall great atmosphere to the school. So excited for summer to be over so I can go back to school (certainly a phrase I've never said before!)
This school is amazing! There are many many opportunities to further your education and experiences in life. We are very STEM and aviation focused. The staff and faculty is amazing. The aviation department is very professional and teaches us respect and gets us ready for the future in whatever career we choose. The staff work their butts off to make sure we succeed and we can go to them for anything school related. This school offers many clubs such as RC flying, drama, robotics, and music clubs. We are a newer school so there are many opportunities to start many new clubs. This year alone we started close to 5 new clubs.
