I have had a great time at West Jessamine Middle school. This school has standards that aren't impossible for students to achieve, but they are challenging. When I first came, the school didn't give off an intimidating vibe. That's good because if a school is intimidating for students then it can be stressful. The administration does an excellent job at helping students with anything. They have counselors, a family resource center, and other things as well. There isn't a whole lot of drama at this school so it's easy for students to become friends. Bullying isn't a big issue here but it is addressed every now and then so that way students know that they shouldn't bully people, and what to do if they happen to witness bullying. Some changes I would like to see is the way time is managed. For example, I would like more time to socialize with my friends because I can only ever really socialize during lunch. Not all of my classes are with my friends, so more time would be good.
The teachers are pretty good and pretty chill. The administration is good at keeping all the students safe while they are in middle school.
