Our school is very rigorous with academics, we offer a ton of AP classes to challenge yourself, most of the teachers are really good and really care about students. Overall if you put in the work, you will succeed. The academic rigor is high, and it motivates you to do well. As a senior I can say that I have been very academically challenged, and it has helped me a lot. I feel more then prepared for college, this school has done a great job.
I really liked attended West High School because I met so many great people and had some amazing teachers. I also really liked getting involved in sports such as Cross Country and Track. The one thing I would change about West High School is the administration and going back to two principals for East and West. Dividing the administration and having two separate principals for both high schools would make the curriculum run more smoothly.
