It has its flaws like any school - many of the teachers seem to instill little more than the desire for the hours of the day to pass by faster within their students, for example, but it does have some teachers that genuinely care about their students, and their subjects, and teaching, the counselors have a fairly good track record, the school nurse is great, and the custodial staff is exemplary! Despite its shortcomings, West Forsyth High School has provided a wonderful learning environment and experience!

My experience at West Forsyth High School was positive for the most part. I was very pleased with the quality eductation I recieved. The teachers were excellent at what they did. All of them really had a passion for teaching and enjoyed it which helped to motivate the students to succeed as well! I felt they prepared me well for college in terms of study habits and curriculum material. Overall, I had a great experience at West Forsyth High School as I am currently an alum who attends the University of North Dakota for commercial aviation.
This is my second year at West, since I moved to the area right before my 10th grade year. I met lots of wonderful people and immediately felt included. My only complaints would be some of the teachers. I have had multiple teachers who go throughout their year assigning meaningless "busy-work" or show us videos instead of teaching the class themselves. I feel as though most students need to be engaged when learning, so teachers who just show videos either don't understand or don't care that their students aren't doing the best they could possibly be doing in their class.
