I love West Forsyth! This school is amazing because if you need help, the Teachers are more than willing to tutor you. The only thing I would change is allowing more time to get to each class. West allows 5 minutes to each class, but it’s not enough time. Sometimes My classes are on the opposite side of the campus. West campus is spread out (like college) so it takes about 6-7minutes walking to get to each class.

I believe that West Forsyth High School is above other WSFCS high schools in my area. However, with so many students attending the school, a lot of opportunities and freedoms have been ruined. For example, recently we have had fun events, such as a Pep Rally, taken due to the actions of a few poorly behaved students. I do not agree that all students should be punished. Especially those who show that they are dedicated to their education and still want to be involved in some fun. There is also a lack of communication between teachers as oftentimes, especially seen with the COVID-19 outbreak, do not know what is truly going on in their own school system. It is heartbreaking as well to hear about the treatment of beloved teachers, though this is more coming from the WSFCS system and not strictly West Forysth.
West Forsyth is, overall, a wonderful school! Of course, no school can be perfect and has its flaws. However, I have had a great experience at West Forsyth. Sometimes, you either hit or miss with teachers, but most of the teachers at West Forsyth are very gifted. The teachers at West Forsyth truly care about their students and take time to invest in and teach them. Sometimes there are custodial issues. West Forsyth offers many events, clubs, and sports for students to become involved. There can be some favoritism shown towards certain students and sports. West Forsyth is a very safe campus. The teachers and administrators at West Forsyth really care about students trying to be accepted into college. Sometimes college discussions are repetitive and too much, but West Forsyth does a great job at preparing students for college.
