West Florida is the most sought after school in Escambia County and since the the school has moved to a new campus, it has become even an even greater school. Teachers are very helpful and respectful to students who strive for excellence and even those struggling. Club and sports opportunities range throughout the year, but are plentiful. Sports such as football, soccer, baseball, softball, and basketball are only the most popular sports, however we have a growing tennis team and lacrosse. Key club, Mu Alpha Theta, music club, anime club, are also just a few clubs at the school. The only real lacking points at the school are the strict administration and poor food quality. To substitute for the latter, there are vending machines throughout the school to access before school, after school, and during break and lunch. Overall the school is much better in terms of academics in the Escambia area.

I love West Florida! It is a unique school to go to and opens many doors of opportunity when it comes to preparing for our futures. I wouldn't want to go to any other school. Even so, I feel like more school spirit events would be nice. Regardless, I would not leave this school for any other general Pensacola high school.
I love all the academies and how well I'm learning there! It has many AP classes and they are very challenging and good prep for college. The teachers dont just care about grades, they care about the students. I do admit there is no chorus which is not ideal and the music program isn't very good but they do have many sports teams, even golf.
