I am a sophomore and currently going to West Central High School. This school is great for someone who loves sports and activities. Our school takes academics and sports very seriously, opening new opportunities for everyone. One problem I have ran into while going to this school is diversity. There is not a lot of diversity at West Central. Almost everyone is alike or acts the same, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It is just difficult for someone who likes to be different because everyone is so similar. Overall, I think West Central is a good school that provides students with everything they need when going into the world.
Review West Central High School
West Central High School teachers are phenomenal about going out of their way to help us succeed, incorporating technology into their lessons, and being approachable. Many students within our school have come to favorite teachers seeking advice or a listening ear. We feel safe and comfortable confiding in these teachers because they are friendly, professional, and respectful. Coming in early and staying late are also things that our teachers constantly offer and keep to their word on. I have spent numerous afternoons and mornings being assisted by our teachers. Finally, our teachers are great at incorporating technology into our school work. Since we have one on one laptops, they teach us many useful ways to use computers that convey information effectively and efficiently. These are just a few of the reasons that I hold the West Central staff in high esteem.
High school is a unique and beautiful time in one's life. This is where we find out who we are, who we want to be, and where we are headed in life. However, we cannot do this without our parents and community-- particularly our academic community. The teachers and my parents have helped me to achieve many great tasks, prepared for my future, and are currently helping me figure out who I am.

If it were not for my parents' support and the flexibility and compassion of the faculty I'm not sure what high school would have been like. Thanks to these two groups, I have been able to get involved in chorus, theater, leadership, and so much more. My school has given me the opportunity to attend seminars as an ambassador; be apart of musicals, traveling one acts, and fall plays. I have also had the great honor to work with many talented young musicians in the concert choir and madrigal singers. These events have taught me a lot about myself and given me a much needed confidence boost.

Secondly, these two groups have also prepared me for my future. My teachers have obviously given me many lessons on the subject matters, but also in technology and life. Most important on this front, however, have been the guidance counselor and my parents. The counselor having us sit down with our parents and plan out future schedules has taught us not only how to plan out our future, but also assisting us in learning to involve our parents. Our parents have guided us on the path to schools, jobs, and thinking wisely about our future. My parents have also taught me that when making large decisions to think about the impact on those who depend on you. These groups have taught me how to wisely make decisions.

Finally, figuring out who I am is something they are currently helping me discern. I am a long ways away but my teachers and parents are with me every step of the way. These people are giving great advice and help me when I fall. These are some ways they help.
