My overall experience at West Central High School was an average experience. I moved my junior year and the school is not too diverse and very grouped off. However, the academics are great and the facility is always kept clean. The teachers are some of the nicest teachers I've had. I would like to see changes like more diversity within the students. Also I believe it would be more beneficial to students to have a longer lunch rather than an SRB and DEAR time. Finally I believe that seniors should have a little more freedom. We should not be required to attend SRB if we don't need to, nor should we have to take a bunch of elective classes if we have met all the graduation requirements.

I love our teachers! They really care and are willing to work with you to see you succeed. I would like to see a little more diversity, more college prep, and students care more about how the influence the school culture.
West Central High School is a good, small town school in South Dakota. It is a tight-knit community, and though it may not provide a lot of opportunities that a larger school would have it makes up for it in its closeness. The school has gone through a lot of turmoil in the last couple years, but the new administration seems ready to turn the school around.
