I like the programs that the high school has such as the many different programs they have for agriculture and FFA, and the school has an outstanding theater/music department. The academic classes are pretty average not really great but definitely not terrible. The school does not have a lot of extra money and are often times cutting many different programs so that is definitely a downfall of the school. Now I personally would have to say an area the school lacks in is discipline the school does a very poor job disciplining students and punishing them it all comes down to who you are and if the staff does not like you then it will not be a good experience. such as athletes will not have a severe punishment for something compared to a regular student. Overall a fairly good school just with not a lot of money and poor discipline plans for students.
As with most public schools in Ohio, they're broke. They're leaks everywhere and you can't walk through the hallways without water leaking on you. Some of the staff are really helpful and care about the students, but most do not, almost like they don't want to be there as much as you do.
I would say that overall this school is pretty average. It isn't great, but it isn't horrible either. A lot of things are good about it like education and the staff. When you have a question or need some help, the staff is happy to assist. This school also offers a handful of AP and CCP courses which help students who need classes that are slightly more difficult. The reason I do not give this school five stars is because of the many issues it has. The building itself is not very sound at times. When it rains the roof leaks a lot and sometimes caves in as it did a couple of years ago in the choir room. We also do not have a lot of money so we have to cut a lot of things. For example, we had to get rid of buses and fire all of our bus drivers last year because we simply couldn't afford it anymore.
