They pulled the arts program and classes. The arts have never been appreciated there. Funding was very poor for up-to-date textbooks and sufficient class materials like good desks, white boards, etc. I met a lot of teachers who greatly cared about our successes but also too many that didn't. There were fights and incidents almost every day. Many of the GIRLS bathrooms were closed. Some teachers explained it was because of a smoking issue and sex on campus issue. We were forced to use bathrooms that were far, dirty, and not taken care of. Ever so rarely did we have soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and functioning sinks. Course criteria, especially in AP classes did not prepare us for college. Budget cuts forced amazing teachers to leave. And too many charter schools took control on campus taking buildings and classrooms away from WESM. Many classes were over-crowded and unnecessarily large due to the seizing of our bungalows, classrooms, and buildings.

My experience at Wesm Health/Sports Medicine was definitely interesting. I attended Wesm from ninth to twelfth and graduated with a 3.3 GPA. I was fully involved with my highschool partaking in an abundance of activities. Although the teachers were not the best, I learned enough to graduate. I liked the extracurricular activities with my favorite being the football games and homecoming dances. Wesm has a lot of helpful attributes but a few things could use a change. I would like teachers and administrators to stress the importance of GPA, college acceptances, and finances. Overall, the transition from highschool to college should be prioritized at entry level grade so that students will be well prepared.
What i like about WESM is that its a great school to learn for those who are focused and determined to learn. They have good and educational clubs to be a part of. I myself am a part of a club on my campus called Knights and Ladies. WESM shows you real life examples for instincts not everyone is going to like you or you might not like the people you work with but you just learn how to cooperate with that and work with it because that is how life will be sometimes. Most but not ALL teachers actually do care about your education and well being exactly why they push you hard and keep up with you because they know you can do it and are capable of bigger things in life. They offer great things to be a part of and that will get you ready for college for example like SAT preps, leadership, and other clubs that good great on your college transcripts. Overall i think WESM is a very good educational school.
