From Wesleyan School

At Wesleyan School, we believe in authentic Christian mission and academic excellence aren’t mutually exclusive.

Wesleyan School is a Christ-centered, academically stimulating K-12 college preparatory school located in Peachtree Corners that prioritizes both its Christian mission and focus on academic excellence. Wesleyan connects students with the best mentors and resources throughout the entire educational experience. Wesleyan chooses to remain a place where children are called by name, yet one that still offers full academic, athletic, and arts programs.

Ask yourself one question. Who do you want your child to be 10, 15, 20 years from now? What kind of husband and father will your son be? What kind of wife and mother will your daughter be? Wesleyan wants to educate your children and prepare them for college, but more importantly, we want to make an investment in their character. Faith and Intellect.

I've been going to Wesleyan for years and I have learned lots with great teachers, made lasting friendships, and participated in amazing electives and extracurricular. The community of the students, faculty, and families offers many opportunities. These could be educational, athletic, artistic, or religious. Wesleyan is a Christian school, where there’s chapel each week and mission trips each spring. This helps Wesleyan positively stand out from other schools. Having a small student body can bring challenges when not having enough for a large team on occasion, but this is overall a great thing because it gives the students a better chance of making a spot on the team or getting cast in a play. Students typically enjoy expressing their talents and getting involved. Although small, Wesleyan is competitive and very talented. Wesleyan isn't known for being very diverse, but with each year the diversity increases. The diversity is improving, and there are many great elements of Wesleyan.

I could not have asked for a better high school experience than the one I've received from Wesleyan school. From the first moment I stepped onto the beautiful campus, I was overwhelmed by a plethora of jovial faces, eager to befriend me. I have formed life-long relationships with teachers who care enormously about me and my success. I have gotten to know a variety of amazing people through unique experiences like mission trips, clubs, summer excursions, and of course class. Every person on this campus works hard at what they do, never giving up on their passions and dreams. I admire the authentic kindness, respect, and integrity of this community. I will keep returning to Wesleyan, the place that has truly become my home.
Bottom line, everything here depends on who you are and the kind of donations your family makes. Concerns are completely ignored, teachers and coaches play favorites without trying to hide it. Some teachers are amazing, but plenty are indifferent, ineffective, or just plain mean. Too many teachers are right out of college. And Jesus takes a definite backseat to what is best for the school. It’s so full of hypocrisy. But the campus is beautiful, so if that’s enough for you, apply. Otherwise, save your money. You won’t get what you think you’ll get.
