I’ve been to three high schools during my years of schooling due to being a military brat, and this one is by far the nicest and most accommodating. I had an easy transition into Wells high school and everyone was kind. The students and staff where very welcoming and the clubs and programs they have are wonderful. Wells also takes a different approach to their education by allowing students to be more responsible and accountable for themselves. Students are able to go to teachers for help on studying for tests or trying to better understand a subject. The school is also set up more like a collage campus than a typical high school and gives students more freedom to do as they please in times like lunch or study hall. This resonates well with students and they feel like they are trusted and respected which creates a mutual respect they feel for the staff.

This year they have a brand new building for the students. There are were updates for almost any discipline from the sports field to biology and the arts. The teachers here are exceptional and always go the extra mile for their students. The extra curricular activities they have span a very wide variety from the environmental club to after school weightlifting. The track can be used after hours by senior citizens for walking especially in the winter months.
Wells High school provides a great and safe learning environment. All of the teachers are always lending a helping hand and making the students feel as though they belong. Guidance counselors here are very kind and helpful. Wells high school has prepared and readied me for my college experience through learning studying strategies, coping skills, social skills, and financial skills.
