Love the teachers in the school, very supportive. Sometimes the environment is not ideal but I have made great friendships within the school. I'm part of the school's law academy and have found that program worth my time and effort.
Hi, I’m Cortez H, during my 4yrs at Wells has been an awesome and rewarding experience for me from the academic perspective to The Boys and Girls Club. Giving me the opportunity to stay focus on school with all the tools needed for an exceptional education, with a supportive staff extended to the club. Opportunity inside of Wells and outside
My experience at Wells high school was a good school for it to have low funding. Now that being said Wells wasn't one on of the best schools because of this reason but we still did what we had to do to create the best learning environment. Wells teachers are smart, outgoing, and innovative. I had an okay time overall but it your job as a student to take matters into your own hands and be responsible for your own high school experience. The schoolwork given isn't that rigorous, so if you want to an academic challenge this might not be the school for you. If you're a bright student like me you would see Wells as the perfect outlet because there's so much room for you to step up and stand out because many of the students are behind. Wells as a school isn't a great college readiness outlet but if you're in the Wells Law Program like I am then you will have a more of a preparation for the expectations in college.
