The environment is always super clean, and generally well kept. The building is still fairly new and majority of the time, the students themselves keep it clean. Alongside that, the administration is always helpful, the guidance department is ran by four very caring counselors, and the office staff is quick to fix any issues. The student environment is generally nice, not many issues between other students, and if there is the administration and guidance is there to help. It’s a close community with great clubs and athletics. Big NHS group, and they have other clubs like Student government association, Key club, FFEA, and FBLA. Over all, the teachers are very hands-on and always strive to help the students in whatever way they can. They also have a decent number of in school Duel Enrollment classes alongside allowing DE students to leave to go to their classes. They also have many AP classes to choose from, they are a capstone school after all.

From a student's perspective, Weeki Wachee High School is very lack luster. Overall, there is very minimal support from the staff when it comes to college preparedness. In addition, the entire school lacks pride and culture. I think the school would benefit with a change in administration, and I think the teachers and staff need to be more devoted to going above their minimal duties.
My experience as a Weeki Wachee hornet I could tell that the school was a very safe learning environment with one of their main concern being the safety of their students. The only problem with this is the frequent drills that would all ways be planned the same time for every drill. Therefore we had a lot of time cut out of that class and would often fall behind because of this. Which was not only frustrating for the teachers but the students as well. During the coarse of 27 weeks I had attempted to contact my councilor many times. Non of the councilors where ever able to talk with me. Which left me with so many unresolved questions and unable to know what steps I need to take to further help me with my schooling. The worst experience in Weeki Wachee High School is how most of the teachers teach the class. They seemed as if they did not care or want to help you learn the material until the class gets a bad average. Which is very frustrating for students trying their hardest to pass.
