Weeden is the most amazing school! It’s teachers go above and beyond for their students. They not only teach them academics, but they teach them how to have good character, how to love others, and how to be a good friend. The teachers at Weeden love all of their students and strive daily to do what’s best for each students learning. Weeden is truly like one big family that works together for the benefit of their students. Weeden is also extremely diverse. It has students from different races, religions, countries, economic statures, and ethnic backgrounds. Students learn to and grow together despite all of their differences. They learn to embrace each other’s differences and grow together.
Weeden Elementary School is home to a collaborative, supportive, diverse, loving and ever-growing community. We pride ourselves on the wonderful students, staff, and programs we have to offer. We are committed to a culture which supports a personalized approach to teaching and learning, challenging and equitable learning experiences for all students, focusing on student academic achievement and outcomes, higher order thinking, problem solving, student engagement, and faculty excellence. We have a reputation of excellence and we will continue to strive to become the best. We embark upon each school year with great enthusiasm and anticipation of new opportunities that will enhance our instructional program and school community.
If you want your children to go to a school where teachers care for them beyond content, Weeden is the place to go! My child has attended Weeden from K-4th grade and nothing but excellence has been the standard. The support provided to students and parents is first class. Weeden is a special gem in the community.
