I grew up in Weatherford and have always attended the schools in town, and I have always loved them! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Class sizes are not too big or too small, so I get to see a lot of my classmates everyday. One thing I would change is making our lunch a little longer. Sometimes it is hard to go get something to eat and come back to school in the 35 minute lunch period. Overall, Weatherford High School is the best school for me and I am so glad I get to graduate from my hometown high school.

Weatherford High School cultivates a sense of future academic pursuit. Because of the inadequate college readiness, the school actually pushes the student to become an independent individual at such a young age. Individualism, in turn, assists the high school graduate whether that be going straight into work or attending a University.
During my attendance at Weatherford High School, I had the opportunity to thrive. My English and math teachers expanded my thoughts and knowledge to the extreme. The guidance counselors aided me with my college search in every manner possible as well. The students are welcoming, and there are multiple areas in which you can fit in. I played volleyball, basketball, and tennis while at WHS, and these sports programs extremely benefitted my success as a teammate and individual athlete. Overall, Weatherford High School has set me up for success wherever I decide to attend college.
