I have several children who all attend Waynflete. Each child is very different with unique strengths and challenges. Waynflete meets all of their needs beautifully. Because it is a small, warm, loving community, my children are so well understood by their teachers. Each child's education is customized. As a result, they are learning at remarkable rates. They are actively engaged at all levels- intellectual, emotional and physical. Most important to me, however, is that they are all HAPPY! They feel loved and cared for by both the adults and their peers. I am an educator and I have worked in many schools. I can honestly say that Waynflete is one of the most exceptional institutions that I have ever experienced.

Our child is in their second year of middle school at Waynflete and the experience so far has been fantastic! In particular, the school's combination of academic excellence, community engagement, personal focus from teachers and administrators, and the wide array of offered activities stand out. Teachers and the school's administrators are great to work with, responsive and open to our questions. Most importantly, our child is learning, growing, and happy-no small feat at this age!
When I first came to Waynflete, the typical nervousness of venturing to a new place with new people accompanied me. Right away, however, my anxieties were dispelled. Waynflete is an incredibly accepting place; from social inclusion and awareness, to encouragement of independent thought from teachers, you can really be yourself at Waynflete. We have a growing sports program which anyone can get involved in, yet we remain extremely competitive, consistently making runs at state championships in sports for both genders. There is never a shortage of clubs or activities to join, yet if you find that something is missing, you have the freedom to start it up! Waynflete is a place where you are free to be yourself, where you can learn to learn, and do so in a completely safe environment. I am truly lucky to have spent my high school years here.
