The staff was honestly so incredible! I moved there sophomore year and everyone was so welcoming. There's no doubt that this school had that small-town-everyone's-family vibe and that has carried into my college years. I love visiting old coaches and teachers and some I consider family now. They always believed in me and pushed me to be the best person, athlete, and student that I can be and I appreciate that "tough love" that some would give. I don't think I would be on the career path that I am now, chasing a radical job, if it wasn't for them.
If I were to critique anything, I think it would be some sports. Since it was a relatively small school at the time, many sports were just now starting up so we didn't have the best training. However, I have visited during the summers and kept up with the teams and I have to admit that they are improving everyday and I am so proud to say I'm from Watertown.

Watertown High School has a great agriculture department. There were several programs and clubs in the agriculture department in which I was involved, I also received several awards in the agricultural classes. I really enjoyed going to school there. The building is newly built but there is a lack of windows in the class rooms. Other than the windows I really do not have any suggestions for changes to make in the school. Like in any school the cafeteria could improve on the food that is served for lunch. I think every student in any school system would agree to that.
Watertown high school is not only a place where a student can go to further his or her education, it is a place where many different people become a family. With only around 550 students, everyone knows everyone. Teachers know how each student learns best and strive to make the classroom an enjoyable environment. The principal, Jeff Luttrell, ensures that learning is always taking place and also makes sure that students have opportunities to be involved in clubs, sports, and other fun activities. Through several tragedies, Watertown high school has become even closer throughout the past few years. As the number of students enrolled continues to grow, the school continues to get better and better, proving that school can be both a place to learn and a place to have close bonds that will impact students' lives forever.
