Amazing teachers! WCA, has been a wonderful experience. The teachers will meet outside of parent-teacher conferences and respond quickly to emails and questions. When one of my sons was struggling with math, his teacher and I came up with an adjusted plan together. The students are also very kind to each other. My 8 y.o. loves that the high schoolers know his name and give him high fives in the hallway. Originally, I was only planning on sending my 8th grader part-time but he felt so included and accepted he wanted to go all day. The school was quite helpful with financial aid so I was able to send three other children there as well. Everyone in the front office is so friendly that I had to make a rule for my kids limiting how many times they could stop by. WCA transitioned to on-line classes beautifully b/c of covid and check in regularly with the parents to see how we are doing. The principle even dropped off extra computers so each student could use one at the same time.
We are very grateful for the changes that have been made over the past two years at WCA. The school has improved in every area. We have always loved the teachers and the community, but the school board and the administration have made it a priority to make sweeping changes that resulted in financial responsibility and sustainability and an even better education with new programs and opportunities for our children. We are excited to be a part of the WCA family!
WCA has always been a great fit for our children, with it's caring teachers, community spirit, sports programs, and Christian worldview. The new leadership over the past two years has made an already good experience even better! We are excited to continue to be part of the life of this school and to see our children graduate from WCA in the future! We love our school, and look forward to its continued growth!
