In order to get hired at Washington one must have experience, not just be fresh out of college but have time behind a desk teaching or interning. I believe that teachers at Washington care about the students. They want to get every single student through, not just the majority. Also our teachers are very organized and have set plans on what they are going to cover and when. Another reason is that our staff has recently done even more by keeping our school library open late and have math and literature help classes after school.

Everything we could possibly need help with we can find answers to in either the library with our two main librarians, or in our guidance office with any four of the guidance counselors. We have began to integrate schoology into our classrooms, this gives parents more input and control over student grades.
There are many clubs that are offered at Washington, from Fellowship of Christian Athletes, to Gay-Straight Alliance, to Magic club there is a very large range.
