Washington High School is a smaller school, but that makes it great for getting involved and easily finding people you connect with. I was personally in at least sport during each season and I know of countless clubs my friends were involved in. I also believe the teachers make Washington High School a place you WANT to learn. They connect so well with the students and are willing to help you in any circumstance. One of the biggest changes I would like to see are for classes to work on college preparations. Some classes were incredibly easy and I was blown away by the amount of information presented in college with no idea how to properly study for them. Overall, love the school and love going back to visit.
I used to go to Lockport Township High school and I transferred over to Washington High school. Let me tell you I personally like Washington better than my old school because it has less people, there's no negative vibes, everyone is nice and is doing tier own things and the school itself is not that big which I like. My overall experience here is amazing. Met some nice people.
Washington High School is where I spent the last four years of my life, and I look back on those memories with a smile. I made lots of friends, and most of the staff was super supportive of me and my goals. There are fun little activities year-round that make high schoolers smile, which isn't easy to do. I enjoyed my time at this school, even if there were times where I sat in class not learning anything for a week. :)
