The school is actually very good despite what our reputation is. The teachers really do try to help you but they don't try and hold your hand the entire way. Also, side note, the teachers cannot prohibit a student from turning in an assignment so if you eventually turn in your assignment by the end of the semesters then you pass. I feel like there's only two main down falls to our school, it is in Parkland (thus lots of police activity so lots of lock downs but mostly modified) and the middle school the shares a campus boundary lie with us.

I love Washington High School with all of my heart; Everyone is so accepting and open to trying new things and meeting new people. The teachers are actually there to help see students grow not just for a pay check, they do not only look to help their students pass the class they are more then willing to help a student with personal problems and helping them grow and be prepared for life after high school!
Since there is so much diversity here, everyone is so nice and kind. Coming from a different place, it can be hard to understand what to do but here, everyone gets situated quickly and the staff helps you with your needs so you don't feel lost or unwanted. Here at Washington High School, everyone is welcome and loved!
