I had a pretty good experience at this high school. Learned many things being apart of the medical magnet program which I enjoyed very much. However, I doubt that if I wasn’t in the program I would’ve had the same experience. Many students did not care about their education, making it hard on those who actually wanted to learn. The teacher here though, were passionate about their jobs which made learning more fun and enjoyable.

Teachers are horrible! Other than the lack of motivation from the staff it's alright. People think their are only unintelligent people that go to washington, which is false. They don't stand out because the bad behavior is only rewarded. The people who are brilliant are robbed of a good education not just from students but from the staff. Students at Washington students shouldn't just be taught material to take a test. They should be taught to learn! And help better the community.
Washington was the school I attended when i moved here to South Bend, Indiana. It was very different. The teachers at Washington seem to really care about the students that want to succeed. A few things that I would like to see is better improvement on the test scored so upcoming seniors don't have to struggle on graduating on time.
