Washington is definitely better than Jefferson, although still pretty lackluster due to it being underfunded.
Academics: changed often, not enough niche classes, but great honors and AP programs
Diversity: Very diverse, although slight majority of white males
Teachers (only experience with Honors and AP, sorry): friendly but fairly strict. Tries their best with what's given
College readiness: Pushed to research, well-off in classes
Clubs & Activities (not much experience due to executive dysfunction): Fantastic art club and music department!
Safety: some verbal harassment, little physical, some drugs, but nowhere near Jefferson's
Administration: very... involved?
Resources & Facilities: severely underfunded, otherwise fantastic

Washington High School is an outstanding learning environment that prepares all students for college and beyond. While some may consider the school and administration to be strict, simply following the rules will earn you favor. I love Washington High School and would not want to go anywhere else!
My experience at Washington High School has been great. I've had great teachers, amazing club opportunities, and it is a wonderful learning environment. The principal, Mrs. Marcus, is honestly a woman that cares about her school and the students that attend it. She may be a little strict but that's just because she wants to run a reputable school, which she does. I've never had any problems at this school and everyone has always been helpful. One thing that I do hope becomes a change is the cell phone policy. As we live in the 21st century, we are flooded with the usage of technology. It would be amazing if they would be incorporated into the classroom.
