Warren E. Hyde Middle School Reviews
Rating 3.44 out of 5 9 reviews
Hyde Middle School has been disappointing. Issues like bullying and student violence persist, with the administration overlooking them. High test scores seem limited to students with paid extracurricular education, exacerbating the performance gap for minority and special needs students.
Many teachers appear unengaged, and the staff can be rude to parents. Worryingly, complaints against teachers screaming at students in class or displaying racism are ignored. The food quality is subpar, with poor meal choices and distribution. Outdated facilities aren't being renovated due to the school's upcoming closure.
Sadly, I cannot recommend Hyde Middle School due to these concerns, and I had hoped for a better experience for my child.

Hyde was nothing but average for me. Electives were good, academics were decent, but it was nothing special Food quality was terrible, not much stuff to do, it didn't prep me well for high school.
I am a graduate from Warren E. Hyde Middle School. I found that there were a lot of Asians at Warren E. Hyde Middle School and it is not a predominantly white school. The academics may be seen as above average and some courses are challenging. However, there are a variety of teachers. Some teachers were understanding and helped prepare students. On the other hand, teachers were strict and forced students to do an unrealistic amount of work.
