Warner Robins High School Reviews

The years I been at school has been okay, but a lot of people do not know how to act because of the fighting and bringing guns to school. The kids are always standing on the wall and not paying attention to their classes and skipping some of them! These students need to behave if they want to graduate from this school and not stay here. Some of the teachers are racist and some of the teachers just let the students do as they please because they do not care if they graduate or not.
I met a lot of really good people there, and the teachers I had personally were some of the most positive adults in my life. But it also always felt like this hierarchy. The same people got everything, no one else really had an opportunity if you weren't with the pep squad group. It just made things harder when trying to achieve things, because you knew early on who would get what. It was discouraging, and I think that's what I would like to see changed. It should feel more open to everyone rather than a select few.
My experience at Warner Robins high school was slightly above average. The academics at Warner Robins are not too challenging. Some teachers are not passionate about their job and seem to dislike it most of the time but there are still quite a few who really care about the students and do wha they can to help you academically and personally. This can affect your experience at the school depending on the teacher you get but most of teachers were really good making high school more enjoyable. The culture at WRHS is extremely diverse. I love that it was diverse. There many fights, and a lot of profanity and violence that happens in the school but it is really easily to ignore. Sometimes the school can feel unsafe because of students fighting and bringing weapons. There is a lack of academic resources and the school does seem to be underfunded compared to other schools in the county but the football team sets us apart form other schools and does bring the school more funding.
