The teachers are very knowledgeable and most of the students work hard every day to give this school a reputation that it can be proud of: A school of hard work, teachers not being afraid to discipline and an administration looking to move the high school towards more advanced programs to get students ready for college.
Highschool for me was amazing! I came from a very diverse school with A LOT of opportunities there for me. I was even able to dual enroll at a college and finish most of my freshman year before even enrolling in college! Great staff and a good overall atmosphere!
Wareham High School is a diverse secondary school in the town of Wareham, Massachusetts that provides an excellent education that will leave any student ready for college. Although the school can definitely improve, there are very few places that have the heart of Wareham High School.
Wareham High School gets a bad name for sure. I know many people, including myself, who have benefited from the school. With at least one student going to an Ivy League school for every year I have been there, I can assure you that you are getting just as good of an education as you would at a school the town over. AP and IB programs are the most beneficial and what students say challenged but helped them the most.
Wareham high has been a great experiences, i have learned so much and made many friends. I have taken many classes to help me in my future and have had teacher who care and always try to help you when you need it. There are many clubs and activities that a lot of students participate in. A lot of diversity as they have many exchange students every year. The staff cares a lot and always trys to help no matter what and you do feel safe in Wareham high. I feel it is overall a great school even thought we get a lot of bad talk and reputation, you learn a lot meat new people and have others who care about you and where your going to go in life and if you will make it. Its a overall great school.
the school really makes you feel you like they want you to succeed. The teachers truly care and are inspiring, and do the absolute best they can with what they have.
Wareham High School is going through many changes because of recent budget cuts. However, despite this, the school and its faculty are doing everything they can to ensure that students still get the best experience they can. Unlike many other schools, Wareham has not cut funding from the arts, sports, or extracurricular activities, but has instead found very unique and clever ways to save money in every way possible, which I admire greatly.
Everyone is very welcoming and it’s easy to find both students and teachers who will inspire you and make your time in high school an amazing experience
Went to Wareham High School for three years, my Freshman, Sophomore and Junior years. I finally left in my Senior year to attend online school. I wish I would have left sooner. More often than not, the classes were constantly disrupted, due to students who were only there because they had to be.
All the teachers had worked hard to give you the best education possible. The teachers tried their hardest to get you to understand the curriculum and help you succeed.
Wareham High school tends to get a bad reputation around my area, which is anything but true. I am a high school senior here at Wareham and I have nothing but good things to say about this school. The opportunities and expereiemxes K have had here are like no other. Not many students have been to China, Switzerland, and Germany. For these reasons Wareham is a school like no other that deserves nothing but good.
The academics are great, in most courses you feel that you are learning a lot (when putting in time and effort into these courses). Teachers are mostly friendly and helpful, I actually find myself favoring teachers over students. There is a vast variety of clubs and activities to get involved in, as well as new clubs being created frequently. For example, I take part in the new environmental club. Drama club and DECA is very big here, and some other clubs are chess club, foreign language club, diversity club, art club, and NOW. There are tons of sports to get involved with, with great teachers that coach. There is a wide variety of AP and honors courses to prepare for college, and teachers are always very helpful with any college questions (especially guidance counselors). The food is okay, not super delicious but not absolutely disgusting. I'd like to see an improvement with food and maybe more parental involvement.
I like Wareham high mainly because of the school district and the kids I grew up with out here. I wish that we would do things more like pep rally
My son had a good experience at Wareham high. I think the administration could be more involved. I feel like the athletics are slipping and need coaches that care. One good thing is the finally got a new varsity football coach in which the kids are responding to. The had a very good year.
Going to Wareham High School is like trying to find a new home. You have your different friend groups, clubs, and all around cliques. But eventually, everyone does find where they fit in.
No horrible but not great
Quite a bit of diversity but is a small school
