As a recent graduate, I am finally able to see how Wardlaw-Hartridge has shaped me. Every year, I pushed myself out of my comfort zone through service-learning trips abroad, varsity sports, rigorous courses, enriching electives, club activities, and more. The welcoming and kind community at W-H helped me discover new strengths. As a current college student, many of the most dynamic teachers I have ever encountered are from my days at The Wardlaw-Hartridge School. I loved the diversity, which was not just racial, but also socioeconomic. It brought together a community made up of students with a diversity of experiences. In class, we analyzed works of literature from many different cultures. Wardlaw-Hartridge understands that we are all global citizens, living in a globally interconnected world. I will always be grateful for being given the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful school. Thank you W-H !

This is an amazing school. It provides academic challenge, global connection and a strong sense of community. My kids love it!
Generally, it does not seem that anything can be done about bullying, but it is definitely prevalent. There is no police presence on campus, but there is a system in place in the case of a potentially unsafe visitor. Students are required to do "lockdown" drills once or twice a year in order to prepare for an emergency of that sort.

The school nurse is okay. Usually students are just encouraged to get ice for whatever is bothering them, which is sometimes not very helpful.

As for health programs, students are required to take health classes from third grade to eighth grade, and it is usually mixed in with the physical education program. Students are again required to take another health class during sophomore year.
