My highschool is pretty average compared to many other schools I've come to learn about. There are some things I wish that could be different about my school though, our school doesn't have a lot of ethnic diversity, and thus my school full of white people can tend to show some racist behavior from some students. Our school however is good at having different activities for students to do, including multiple clubs in which I participate in Drama Club and GSA. Although it would be amazing if they added some other clubs. I also wish that there was more college preparations during highschool. As someone who lives in a family who hasnt had anyone go to college before, it has been hard to navigate the waters of figuring out what I should be doing. And the counselors in our school aren't as helpful as I think they should be.
Small school with good learning opportunities. Especially appreciate the openness to improving that Is seen between administration, school board, teachers and community.
Could use improvements in grounds keeping but that is limited because of budget.

Walton high school has great opportunities for students. Including taking career courses at the nearby trade school when they get to be juniors and seniors. The school has a great arts and atgletics though they could give some money to other areas instead of giving football team new jerseys every year. I attended this high school and believe the teachers are great and care about the students and their sucess. The push kids to do their best and prepare them for their college careers and lives.
