Walsingham Academy is a wonderful college preparatory school. I currently have a child attending the lower school and could not be more pleased. The Faculty employed by the Academy are exceptional. Walsingham truly has been a blessing for my family. The Walsingham community feels more like a family than a school. The support, compassion, love and care are by far more that I could have ever hoped for. The Walsingham Academy community is a wonderful example of what a Mercy Education is all about!

As Parent, very disappointed in several year experience. We no longer attend.
Great musical theatre program, but unfortunately for the academically minded the director was also a very poor history teacher who was not well organized or prepared.
Students: Very cliche clickey with many spoiled rude kids. 7th graders yelling, tipping over desks, climbing under a teachers desk, and stealing property and yet not disciplined.
It was clear too many parents assumed their special snowflake was infallible and hence many behavior issues. They couldn't understand that not ALL students earn A's.
Lower school administration more interested in appearance /reputation than dealing with the real bullying issues. We know of one classmate who left because of bullying and for another stinging indictment, a talented alumnus stated she didn't like her experience there and is not sending her children.
The coaches and teachers I have had the opportunity to work with at this School have changed my life. The cross country, swim, and track programs have incredible coaches, and have helped me to learn how to work hard and succeed. Academically the English, Science, and Math Departments are incredible, and I love going to class. Socially we are like every other school. No matter where you go there will be snobs, and jerks, but at Walsingham there are plenty of welcoming groups and people. I have everyone of my 11 years here, and if you are willing to work hard and play sports you will likely love it too. FIGHT FOR FYKES!!!!! Go Trojans!!!
